A fantastic experience !
We had a wonderful stay! The location was incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the station and right near 2 convenience stores, which made everything so accessible. The room was big and spacious, providing a comfortable space to relax after a long day. Breakfast, though simple, was surprisingly delicious and offered a nice variety each morning. A special highlight was the day soba was served—it was such a treat! One feature we really appreciated was the ability to rent bicycles directly from the hotel. It gave us the freedom to explore during the day and conveniently return the bikes at night. The staff provided impeccable service. Despite language barriers, they made a great effort to understand our needs and always responded with warmth and attentiveness. Overall, a fantastic experience—we’d definitely stay here again!

What was the highlight of Hotel Rosso Karuizawa
I would for sure stay at this place again if I am in the neaby area.
Good location close to the train and bus station. Staff was extremely friendly, They gave good recommendation on how bus tracks and other points of interest nearby. We got a perfectly cleaned room and there were perfect white sheets and a pretty good breakfast. The Welcome Drink and the afternoon game room setup in the cafeteria was a nice surprise which my son enjoyed. Also the fact that we were always welcomed by the staff at the hotel door when we came back from our walks was a great touch.

What was the highlight of Hotel Rosso Karuizawa
Great location, staff went above and beyond.
The hotel location is just an easy flat 6 min walk from the JR shinkansrn station. It's a lovely little hotel with new facilities, and the hot water pressure through the rain shower is excellent. I had the family toom, which was very spacious. The free breakfast was nasic, but very sufficient. And on top of it all, the staff eas ALWAYS courteous and helpful, ftom having our room key ready when we returned before we even asked, and providing color prints of nus schedules and recommendations. I can't recommend Hotel Rosso enough for a stay in Karuizawa.
